Jp Hovercraft

JP Hovercraft has been a fixture on the Peterborough music scene since the early 70s and has been playing bass for over 50 years. He's played with Joe Hall and the Continental Drift, Rita Chiarelli, Max Mouse and the Gorillas, Buzz Thompson and the Downtown Sound, Rezonator (who have a new CD out), The Fabulous Tonemasters, Georgette Fry, Sunnyland Slim (for a weekend), Larry Garner (along with Jackson  Delta), Dennis O'Toole, Al Black and the Steady Band, The Rick and Gailie Band, and many others. He had a stint as a stand-up singer for Soul Revue. He won the 1993 CKPT Homegrown Contest for his song "Drownin' In Blue". He ran Hovercraft Studio in the late 90s where he recorded albums by Joe Hall, Catfish Willie, Phil Kummel, and Robert Atyeo and others.
